Clickshare is a collaboration device, it allows multiple presentations in a meeting room or a board room to display the device very easily and quickly. Clickshare setup is very easy, there is no problem of connecting cables, complex configuration or adjusting laptop screen resolution.
With very little setting for the system, Clickshare allows you to share laptop screen to a big display or a projector. Clickshare also allows you to share your laptop sound through a conference room audio system. Clickshare uses both Wi-Fi frequency 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Its starts with a receiver that is plugged into a projector or a display device. Then those who come to a conference room are given a clicker (essentially an USB dongle with a click button) once it’s plugged in a laptop, a driver is loaded automatically and it will have a little Clickshare logo on a desktop. When the presenter is ready to give their part of presentation. They can simply push Clickshare button on their device and their laptop comes up on a display. If another person wants to display their device, they click and hold and their screen is shared on the full screen. If users would like to display multiple devices, they just need to click it once and they will have multiple displays at the same time. This system can have it can have 4 displays simultaneously. There is also a Clickshare app for iPhone and android device. It essentially allows user to take image from an iPhone or pdf file to display them as well. Android device and iPhone communicate with the box via a Wi-Fi.
Mainly there are 2 basic model of Clickshare:
Clickshare’s CSM model is specially design for small offices or standard meeting rooms. This model supports both Clickshare button and mobile devices. Price of this base unit is very less as compared to CSC base unit. CSM comes with 2 clickshare buttons and it can connect up to 8 Clickshare buttons simultaneously.
Clickshare’s CSC model is designed for the enterprise. CSC basic unit comes with 4 Clickshare buttons and a storage device to hold the Clickshare buttons when not in use and it has the capacity to support up to 64 Clickshare buttons simultaneously. Upto 4 users can use the screen simultaneously. Its support fully synchronizes sound and video.
